QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY SCHOOL OF LAW

Quinnipiac is a private, co-educational university in Southern New England where students receive an educational experience that’s both personal and challenging from faculty who care deeply about students’ outcomes. Their three campuses are located in Hamden and North Haven, Connecticut. They offer more than 100 programs to an estimated 7,000 undergraduate and 3,000 graduate students.

With seven optional concentrations in disciplines such as intellectual property, family law, health law and criminal law and advocacy, the JD program is as varied as the law itself. They offer dual-degrees in business, environmental law and social work, and a master of laws (LL.M.) program and a health care compliance certificate.

Master of Laws in health law program is ideal for lawyers and law school graduates at all stages of their careers who would like to build a specialized foundation in a legal field that intersects with a variety of areas including corporate and labor law, religious liberty and privacy issues. As health care becomes more complex and the regulatory landscape turns increasingly difficult for businesses, governments and non-profits to navigate, there is a growing demand for lawyers who have a comprehensive understanding of the different components of the system. examine topics such as food and drug law, workers compensation, bioethics and disability law.

Lynne L. Pantalena Law Library features an inspiring 220-foot long, three-story, light-filled atrium and leading-edge research technology. Among its extensive holdings are legal treatises dating back to the 18th century, a comprehensive collection of current journals and access to a full array of electronic databases, including Bloomberg Law, Hein Online, LexisNexis, Westlaw and other web-based services.
