Its primary objective is to provide a platform to foster discussions on corporate law and analyse on related topics, develop an interest in the subject and get a practitioner’s perspective. This is facilitated through inviting the eminent alumni to deliver lectures on developments and emerging trends in the realm of corporate law. These lectures cover topics which are usually outside the purview of classroom discussions including Capital Markets, Banking & Finance, Competition laws, M&A, Project Finance or any other practice areas.
Post lecture sessions are also organized, wherein the students get an opportunity to interact with alumni regarding a career in corporate law, internships and recruitment. The Corporate Law Society also publishes a monthly bulletin with domestic and international updates related to all fields of commercial law.
